OBITUARY
John Donald "Don" Weaver, 70, of Lesage, husband of Louise Weaver, died Wednesday, Oct. 13, 2004, in St. Mary's Medical Center. He graduated from Milton High School and attended Marshall University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. After 37 years at Kinney Shoe Corporation, he retired in 1996 as superintendent. Pastor Eddie Salmons conducted funeral services Saturday, Oct. 16, 2004, at the Wallace Funeal Home and Chapel, Barboursville. Burial in Union Ridge Cemetery, Glenwood, WV. Don was born Aug. 25, 1934, in Huntington, WV, a son of the late Virgil and Agnes Lewis Weaver. He was preceded in death by his brother, Virgil Lee Weaver, Jr.; grandparents-in-law, Lester and Margaret Henry; and sisters-in-law, Tammy Holley-White and Dianah Holley. He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Louise Weaver. Also surviving are his two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Lenora Weaver of Colorado and Terry and Lisa Ray of Huntington; two daughters, Julie Weaver and Toni Brocksmith of Florida; two daughters and sons-in-law, Tina and Dale Freeman of Ohio and Teresa and Larry Clark of Lesage; 12 lovely grandchildren, Julian, Daniel, Gillis, Maggie, Bailey, Lauren, Erin, Kevin, Kendra, Lara, LaKota and Ethan; three brothers and sisters-in-law, Richard an Ella Mae Weaver of Texas and Raymond and Linda Weaver and Charles and Janet Weaver, all of Ona; one sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Danny Nance of South Caroline; mother-in-law, Faye Jordan of Ona; five brothers and sisters-in-law, June and Kelly Holley of South Carolina, William and Mary Holley of Huntington, Ronnie, Johnny and Timmy Holley of Ona and Delores and Neal Collins of Ona; several special nieces and nephews; and also two very special friends, Dice and Judy Steele of Glenville, WV. Pallbearers were Ronnie, Ronald, Johnny and Timmy Holley, Neal Collins and Lee Henry. Wallace Funeral Home, Barboursville, was in charge of arrangements.
