Birmingham, died April 13, 2000.
She retired from the President's Of-
fice at UAB in 1985 after many
years of service. In the past she
worked a long time with The Boy
Scouts. She was a member of
Ruhama Baptist Church since
1946. Graveside services will be
Monday, April 17, at 11 a.m. at
Forest Hill Cemetery. Dr. Charles
Baker officiating. Visitation will be
Sunday, April 16, from 5:30 to 8:00
p.m. at Roebuck Chapel. Survivors:
husband of 55 years, Woodrow W.
Headley of Birmingham; son, Woody
E. (Jackie) Headley of Tuscaloosa;
granddaughter, Robin Lee (John)
Bakkegard of Birmingham; sister,
Ruth Philemon of Winston-Salem,
NC; several nieces and nephews.
