Salie Eunice Wilbur was the youngest of 5 children born to Aaron Wilbur and his 3rd wife Mary Eunice Copp. She was educated in private schools in Savannah, GA and in Washington DC. She graduated in 1892 from Elmira College in Elmira, NY. She was an active member of the Independent Presbyterian Church in Savannah, the DAR, United Daughters of 1812 and Daughters of the Confederacy. She traveled Europe, Africa and Asia in concert w/ missionary work. She married Schuyler Coe Brandt in April 1895 in Washington, DC. They lived in Binghamton, NY and Chicago, IL and had 4 children. Not long after Schuyler died in 1923, she returned to her beloved Savannah where she later died in 1938.
She is interred in the Wilbur Plot, Bonaventure Cemetery.
