Their daughter Bertha was born on Feb 29, 1888 and baptized in the church at Barnewitz, Germany. She Emmigrated to America from Hamburg, Germany in 1895 to Chicago, Illinois. In 1897 she moved with her family to Rib Lake, Wisconsin. Then to Olanda, Montana in May of 1912. Olanda is about 30 miles north of Terry, Montana. Her daughter lived close by with her husband August Martin. Her last name is pronounced Bacholl in German. So, many American records list her last name as Bacholl. The certified German Marriage record lists her last name spelled as Pacholl. She was Roman Catholic.
