He was born in East Prussia which is a former country prior to World War II in present day Eastern Poland. He married his wife Maria Katharine Pacholl at Barnewitz, Brandenburg, Germany in 1887. They had one Daughter Bertha Marie Sabrowski in 1888. He emigrated from the port city of Hamburg, Germany to Chicago via Liverpool, England to Quebec,Canada, then to Chicago with is 7 year old daughter Bertha and his wife. He was here for 2 years until 1897.He is listed in the 1897 Chicago Directory. Then he moved to Rib Lake, Wisconsin. One adopted son Robert Sabrowski appeared about this time. In May of 1912 he moved to Olanda, Montana and homesteaded. His daughter was close by with her Husband August Martin. About 1940 they moved to Terry, Montana. Broke his leg died from shock and other contributory causes on March 8, 1942. His father was Johann Wilhelm Sabrowsky. He spelled his last name Sabrowski in American records and Sabrowsky in German Records. They spoke German not Polish. Sometimes he also went by Frederick Sabrowski. It just depends on which record you are looking at.
