Nina Mae Cannon Bennett, 71, of Doyle, passed away Jan. 8, 2010, at Alive Hospice, in Nashville.
Mrs. Bennett was born March 17, 1938, in White County, to L.M. and Maude Knowles Cannon.
Mrs. Bennett was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Eston and Tommy Cannon.
Survivors include her husband, Robert Lee Bennett, of Doyle; son, Robert Dale Bennett, of Doyle; brother, Charles Cannon and wife Doris, of Sparta; two sisters, Daisy Cannon, Ruth Hooper and husband Howard of Campaign; and several nieces and nephews also survive
Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Jan. 10, 2010, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Anderson Cemetery. The family will receive friends after 6 p.m., Jan. 9, at the funeral home. Harlen Simmons and Clint Walker will officiate.
