Gulfport, MS ~ George Henry Reyer, Sr. served in the U. S. Army and worked as a mechanic. George Reyer passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012 in Gulfport at the age of 69.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Wallace and Celia Reyer, 2 brothers and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his wife: Betty Lou Reyer; sons: George Jr., Harold, Robert and LeRoy; daughters: Stella, Voncile and Vivian; brothers: Sam (Evelyn) Reyer, Robert (Millie) Reyer, Charles (Louise) Reyer; sisters: Naomi Parker, Willie Phelps, Dorothy Jarrell and Rose Mary (Chester) McKay; 22 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and his extended family at the American Legion Post 119 and 40/8 Voiture 251 Gulf Coast.

Services will be Noon Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at Handsboro United Methodist Church, 2333 Demaret Dr. in Gulfport. Visitation will be at the church 2 hours prior to service time. Burial will follow at Biloxi National Cemetery.
Care of my husband is entrusted only to the professionalism of Marshall Funeral Home.
