Irene M Mattice
Iren M. Mattice passed away Sept. 20,2002 in Reno, Nevada. She was born August 20, 1914 in Exira, Iowa and had lived most of her life in Nevada. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of over 40 years, David J Mattice and daughter, Jacque Holden.
Irene lived her life for her family and was a devoted homemaker. She raised her four children throughout Nevada including Reno and Las Vegas, while he husband worked for Wells Cargo, Inc. She was active with PTA, Brownies, Girl Scouts and may activities involving her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
Irene is survived by her sister Leona Vargas and brother Soren Jessen, both of Exira Iowa; her children, Patricia Lambert and Husband James, Lee Conte and John Deeter and Gary Mattice and wife, Johanne; grandchildren, Joyce Macway, Janice Boers, Debbie Toddd, Bret Lambert, Bob Le Vitt, Jodi Thomas, Sheila Demars, Melissa Joes and Marnie, Kellie and Jacie Mattice, She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. All will greatly miss her smile, warm affection, and deep love of her family.
Arrangements are under the direction of Mountain View Mortuary where services will be held on Friday, September 27, 2002 at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest at Valley View Cemetery in Yerington, Nevada.
