Mrs. Handshoe was born May 24, 1926, in Garrett, Ky., to James Charles Harmon and Fannie (Little) Harmon.
She married Arnold Handshoe on Jan. 18, 1946, in Garrett, Ind. Arnold preceded her in death March 14, 1989.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday, April 30, 2012, at Hite Funeral Home.
Officiating the funeral service will be the Rev. Emory Gibson.
Burial will be at Christian Union Cemetery near Garrett.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Hite Funeral Home of Kendallville.
