Elton O'Neal Wilson, 81, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at his Residence.

He was Born on September 18, 1930, to Ernest D. and Georgie Lee Wilkerson Wilson. He was the Oldest of four Children.

He was a Member of Anchor Hold Church; and Retired from Tenneco. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. He was also a Member of the American Legion and the Red Devils Battalion.

Service is at 11 a.m. Monday at Glenfield Funeral Home in New Albany with Rev. Mike Sanders, Rev. Robert Hogue and Rev. William Phillips Officiating. Internment is at Glenfield Memorial Park.

Survivors are his Wife of 58 years, Shirley Carson Wilson; four Daughters, Karen Wilson Lang and Husband, Bill; Patricia Wilson Roberts and Husband, Barry; Regina Dianne Wilson; and Janet Wilson Messer and Husband, Richard; 11 Grandchildren, William O'Neal Lang and Wife, Beverly; Tara Lang McMillin and Husband, Steve; Brandon J. Lang and Wife, Lauren; Brittany Lang Madonna and Husband, Christofer "Bo"; Shianne Ely; Breanne Roberts; Shanna Roberts; Kayla Roberts; Ashley Messer Shackleford and Husband, Clay; Lana Messer Bass and Husband, Bleau; and Cierra Messer; two Brothers, Aurbrey Wilson and Leland Travis Wilson; one Sister, Idell Wilson Casey; and 16 Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Bill Lang, William O. Lang, Jr., Barry Roberts, Richard Messer, Bronson Lang and Brandon Lang.

Visitation is from 5 to 9 p.m. today.
