Marvin J. Arnold, 89, died Friday, April 27, 2012, at Tishomingo Manor in Iuka.

He was Born December 11, 1922, in the Cairo Community to Bob and Lillie Bullock Arnold.

He was a United States Army Veteran.

He was a Christian; and he was a Mechanic in the Road Construction Industry.
He enjoyed Hunting, Fishing, raising his Garden and Helping his Friends and Family.

Funeral Services will be at 1 p.m. today at the Booneville Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Warren Jones Officiating.
Burial will be in Jacinto Cemetery.

He is survived by four Sons, Gene Arnold and Wife, Carolyn, of Rienzi; Jerry Randall Arnold and Wife, Linda, of Iuka; Merle Arnold and Wife, Norma, of Corinth; and Harold Arnold and Wife, Tina), of Walnut; five Daughters, Nancy Holland and Husband, Lavon; Martha McNair and Husband, Joe; all of Glen; Pam Potts of Burnsville; Cindy Rorie and Husband, Wade, of Rienzi ; and Martie Marlar and Husband, Eugene), of Tishomingo; three Brothers, Matt Arnold and Wife, Sarah, of Tifton, GA; James Arnold and Wife, Quay, of Booneville; and John Arnold of Douglas, GA; two Sisters, Ruth Grooms and Elizabeth Horn, both of Booneville; 21 Grandchildren; 36 Great Grandchildren; a Very Special Friend, Earl Stone, who was like a Brother; and Special Friends, Lester Wommack, David Baker, Jerry Gunn, Archie Tennison and Richard Kimes.

He was preceded in death by his Wife, Ockless Lambert Arnold; his Parents; and three Sisters, Maybelle Clark, Mary Flanagan and Magdalene Arnold; and a Son In Law, Danny Potts.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Arnold, Scottie Arnold, Rodney Arnold and M. J. Marlar.

Honorary Pallbearers are his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
