Emil Bright, 78, of rural Xenia in the Orchardville area, died at 11:36 a.m. Friday, Nov. 26, 1993 at the Clay County Hospital in Flora.
He had been in declining health. Mr. Bright was a retired farm laborer.
Rites Are Held
Funeral rites were conducted Monday afternoon (today) from the Hosselton Funeral Home in Cisne, with Elder Stanley Greathouse officiating. Interment was in Jacob's Chapel Cemetery, Orchardville. A visitation was conducted Sunday evening at Hosselton's.
He was born in Wayne County July 30, 1915, the son of Benjamin and Carrie Gaines Bright.
Mr. Bright attended Orchardville Community Church.
He was preceded in death by two sons, one sister, four brothers and his parents.
The Survivors
Surviving are six sons . . . ; one sister, Mrs. Sadie Hawkins, of DeKalb; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
