Judy passed at age 55, resident of Lomita and employed for 28 years with Northwest Airlines at LAX, died at her brother Vincent's home in Redondo Beach on Friday, May 26, 2006, following a courageous battle with breast cancer. She was born April 26, 1951 in the town of Teaneck, New Jersey to the late Vincent Sr. and Ann Kelly. She grew up in Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Judy attended The Academy of Holy Angels in Demarest, New Jersey and the College of Steubenville in Ohio. Judy moved to Los Angeles in 1980 and lived in Hermosa Beach for ten years and then owned a home in Lomita since 1990. During her long career at Northwest Airlines, Judy traveled the world. Her many close friends are scattered across the United States and many locations around the world. Judy is survived by her brother, Vincent, his wife, Jackie and their daughter, Angela; her brother, Robert and his wife, Karen and their five children, Caroline, Noreen, Patrick, Caitlin, and Kevan; her aunt Marion of Holmdel, NJ and uncle Martin of Waterville, New York. Judy was so loved by us her NWA family, with cooperation of her family and NWA friends a bench was purchased and placed on the Hermosa Beach Pier in her honor. She always made you laugh and you couldn't have asked for a better friend.
