Herkimer - Mr. Anthony Abeline, 74, died June 8, 1940, at the home of his daughter Mrs. Ruth Lowery 509 Dorf St., following four weeks illness.
A native of Herkimer, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael Abeline in 1886 he married Jennie Richardson who died six years ago.
He was a cabinetmaker by trade and for many years was employed by the old Munger Desk Factory. Later he worked for the National Desk Factory.
Besides Mrs. Lowery he leaves three other daughters, Mrs. Elmer Stuart, Corning, Mrs. George Woodrick and Mrs. George Sanderson and a son Charles, all of Herkimer.
