Born in Hagerstown, he was the son of Warren and Esther Flurie Harding Sr of Fairplay.
He was employed at the Maryland Correctional Institute as a guard and was a member of the National Guard of Hagerstown.
Besides his parents, he is survived by his wife Mrs Kathryn Beissel Harne, one daughter, Heather Harne, at home, two sisters, Sarah E Harne, at home and Cathy L Harne of Towson, tow brothers, Jack O Harne and Mark S Harne, both at home.
Services will be held at 3:30 Friday at the Minnich Funeral Home with the Rev William W Beale officiating.
Burial will be in Rose Hill Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home this evening from 7 to 9.
