MONTGOMERY, Mary Elizabeth (Bowman) age 85 of West Manchester, passed away on Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Hospice of Dayton. Mary was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother, and was a member of the Salem District of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years: Jacob, son and daughter- in-law: Myrl (Judith) Montgomery of Lewisburg, daughters and sons-in-law: Charlene (Kent) Denlinger of West Manchester and Rachel (Michael) Miller of Wonewoc, WI, 14 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, brother and sister-in-law: William (Phebe) Bowman of Wirtz, VA, and numerous other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Sally (Peters) Bowman, infant son: Michael Montgomery, infant great-grandson: Gabriel Brubaker, and sister and brother-in-law: Elsie and Levi Denlinger.
Funeral services at the Salem Old German Baptist Brethren Church (Corner of Barnes Rd and Sweet Potato Ridge Rd, Clayton) with the Home Brethren officiating. Interment will follow the service at Warner Cemetery in Clayton. The family will receive friends at the church. The Kindred Funeral Home of Englewood is handling arrangements.
