William A. Ronsick (Bill) passed away April 25, 2012. He was born October 8, 1920, in Humboldt, to William J. Ronsick and Minnie M. Ronsick. A Celebration of Life is planned for Wed., May 2nd, 10:30 a.m., at McGilley State Line. Burial in Leavenworth National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Visitation 6-8 p.m., Tues., May 1st, at McGilley State Line. Bill was an independent insurance agent, owning & operating Midwest Insurance Service, Inc., now owned and operated by son, Gregory Chad Ronsick. He was a Navy veteran of World War II serving in both Atlantic and Pacific during his 4 years of service attaining the rank of Lt. Commander. He is survived by his loving wife of 65 years, Marcella (Marcy); son, Gregory Chad Ronsick (Nancy); daughter, Karen Dee Benscoter (Steve); 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and 2 nieces. We wish to express our very great gratitude to Vitas Hospice & KC Hospice for their great care of him during this very difficult time of end-stage Alzheimer's.
