Amanda Magill Morgan Daley, 71, 445 E. 2200 N., Provo, died Friday at 2901 W. Center, Provo. She was born March 8, 1899, in Levan, Juab Co., a daughter of Ira Robert and Mary Mataline Hofheins Morgan. She married James G. Daley on Nov. 16, 1921, in Provo. He died Jan. 6, 1963. She attended Levan schools and after their marriage lived in Provo where Mr. Daley was a fruit farmer.

In 1948 Mrs. Daley went to work for Brigham Young University as a Matron and retired in 1965 and moved back to Levan. In 1969 she returned to Provo. She was active in the LDS Church, serving as a Primary and Relief Society teacher.

She also belonged to the Camp Pleasant View, DUP. Her hobbies were fishing, camping, handiwork and flowers.

Survivors include one son and one daughter, Max M. Daley, Provo; Mrs. Eugene (Mary) Aagard, Levan; one brother and two sisters, Edward N. Morgan, Lindon; Mrs. Gilbert (Viola) Shepherd, Levan; Mrs. Hazel Garrett, Nephi; 18 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Berg Drawing Room Chapel in Provo under the direction of Bishop Heber Taylor of the Levan Ward. Friends may call at the mortuary, 185 E. Center, tonight from 6 to 8 o'clock and Monday prior to services. Burial will be in the Provo City Cemetery.
