Holman was born April 14, 1929, in White County, to Jimmy and Monerva Jane Bryant Holman.
He had served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and worked in construction.
Holman was preceded in death by his parents.
Services were held at 1 p.m., June 27 2002, at Hunter Funeral Home, with burial in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Boyd Roberts and Haskell Randolph officiated.
