Sinah's maiden name is unknown. Her mother's name was Mary and Mary's maiden and married names are unknown.

Sinah married John Ball I of the Potomac (son of Lieut. James Ball) as his first wife. They had four children:

Lt. James (b. ca 1695)
Mary (b. ca 1698)
Sinah (b. ca 1704)
Martha (b. 1708)

Sinah preceded her husband in death (bet. 1708 and 1710). Her husband John Ball I remarried on 9 Mar 1710 to a young catholic Welsh heiress named Winifred Williams (daughter of William ap Williams and Ann Harrison) and they had four children:

Ann (b. ca 1712)
John II (b. 1714)
Moses (b. 2 May 1717)
George (b. 1720)

Sinah's husband John is buried in the Ball-Carlin Family Cemetery in Arlington, VA. Sinah would have died between 1708 when her last child was born and before John remarried to Winifred Williams on 9 Mar 1710.

Sinah's burial place is unknown, but is probably in VA.
