Allan Leon Jewell Indianapolis, passed away January 30, 2005 after a short illness. He was born April 5, 1938 in Sullivan, IN to Denver and Dulcie Jewell.

Allan graduated with a Masters of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University. He worked for Cummins Engineering in Columbus, IN and RCA Records in Indianapolis.

He retired as a self-employed computer consultant. Mr. Jewell taught classes at IUPUI and Ivy Tech. The major love of his life was music. He was a member of the Purdue Glee Club and sang professionally. Allan enjoyed visiting Indiana State Parks, hiking and spelunking with his children. He enjoyed traveling throughout the country. He was passionate about helping his fellow mankind through his volunteer efforts.

Allan is survived by his wife, Virginia "Ginny" L. Jewell of Indianapolis, IN; son, Stephen Jewell of Pine Island, FL; daughter, Karen Hite (William) of Pine Island, FL; grandson, Jason Hite of Pine Island, FL.
