Mrs. Bagwell was born on December 5, 1921 to the late Jesse Enoch and Minnie Lou (Mabrey) Crossley, in Spartanburg SC.
She was a 1942 graduate of Spartanburg High School, had retired from Arkwright Mills and was the oldest member of Stone Station Baptist Church.
Mrs. Bagwell is survived by two daughters, Barbara Ann LaBoone (Wayne) of Boiling Springs, Jolene Galloway (Walker) of Moore; two sons, Troy Bagwell Jr. (Elaine) of Roebuck, Billy Bagwell of Roebuck; and a sister, Ruth Gibson of Glendale. She was blessed with 8 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two sisters, Bertie Mae Blackwell, Mary Crossley, and a brother, JB Crossley.
The family received friends 1:00-2:00 PM, Friday, April 27, 2012 at Dunbar Funeral Home. A funeral service followed in the chapel at 2:00 PM conducted by the Rev. Rob Gouge and Rev. Tim Hackett.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, memorials could be made to Stone Station Baptist Church; 121 Walnut Grove Ln., Roebuck, SC 29376
