Mrs. Minnie E. Stayton, 86, died Feb. 10 at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Joe Blankenship, at Kaiser. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at an Eldon funeral home and burial will be in the Dooley Cemetery near Eldon.
Mrs. Stayton was born Jan. 18, 1869, near Eldon, the daughter of John S. and Amanda Jobe. She was married to William W. Stayton who died Nov. 1, 1949.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Joe Blankenship; six sons, John L. of Eldon, Dorsey of St. Louis, William H. of Grinnell, Iowa; James G. of Harrisonville; Lyman R. of Jefferson City, and Louis G. of Bunceton; one sister, Mrs. Ellen Harvey, Sedalia; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be in charge of the Rev. Joe Cyrus, pastor of the Riverview Baptist Church.
