Robert E. Jobe, 53, of North Picher succumbed to a complication of diseases Tuesday evening. He is survived by a wife, two sons, Joseph and Logan, and daughter, Mrs. Rose Herring. Funeral was conducted Wednesday afternoon from the residence with Guy C. Tetirick, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal Church, officiating. Robert married Mary "Dollie" Hasty on 18 May 1887 in Morgan County, Missouri. Children of Robert and Mary (U.S. Census) included: John E. Jobe, Joseph Coda Jobe, Fanny O. Jobe, Rosa Mae Jobe, and Frank L. Jobe.

Robert's widow, Mary "Dollie" Jobe married W. R. Lamb at Coffeyville, Kansas in 1923. She moved to Yoncalla, Oregon in 1938 near other family. (The Eugene Guard, Oregon,
