Mrs. Charlotte Epperson died on the night of Dec. 5, 1905. She had reached the ripe old age of 88 years. She had been a widow for 43 years. Her husband, Wm. Epperson, died of typhoid fever in 1862. A grown daughter, Mary, died the same year.
Mrs. Epperson was the last of the Wm. Bradshaw family. Two daughters and a son preceded her to the Home Land, and a son, S.A. Epperson, and two daughters, Mrs. Sallie Holladay and Mrs. James Holladay, survive her.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Christian Church and the oldest living member.
Mrs. Epperson was a noble, good Christian woman. She had not been able for many years to attend church, but lived a devoted Christian life. During all the years of her widowhood, she had been blessed of having good children and grand-children to minister to her wants. Her son, S.A., who has been so faithful and devoted to her all these years, has manifested a true Christian spirit and no one could show more tender affection and devotion to a mother than he has.
The funeral was preached by J.F. Barger.
