Lloyd Edson Sills, 68, of Vilonia, AR, and being born in Huntington, IN, died Tuesday, April 24, 2012.
Mr. Sills served with the United States Army and received a Purple Heart, Vietnam Service Medal with two Bronze Stars and other honors.
He was born Sept. 11, 1943, to Clyde and Isabell Sills.
Survivors include his wife, Georgia Sills; three children, Dan (Barbara) Sills, Shanna (Samuel) Washington and John (Kara) Wimberly; nine siblings, Juanita Crouch, Hope Al-kazaee, Melody Benfer, Dorse Wininger, Vicky Wininger, Shanna Schlichter, Jim Sills, Mike Sills and Steve Sills; 10 grandchildren, Clayton Sills, Tylor Collins, Taliat Washington, Kristen Wimberly, Dylan Wimberly, Jayden Wimberly, Shawna Adkins, Avery Adkins, Samuel Washington Jr. and Shelby Washington; and three great-grandchildren.
Calling is Sunday, April 29, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m., at Arkansas Funeral Care, 2620 W. Main St., Jacksonville, AR. A funeral service will be Monday, April 30, 2012, at 10 a.m. at Vilonia Assembly of God.
Interment will follow at Arkansas State Veterans' Cemetery in Sherwood.
