The internet is a wonderful tool that is capable of wonderful things. Find A Grave is one of those tools that allows people to remember those who have passed on. In a few years, I won't be around any more. But the data that I upload to this website will always be available for future use. If you should have a non-commercial use for any photo that I upload to Find A Grave, please help yourself. I would appreciate attribution credit for the photo.

As a Soldier and a veteran, my main focus has been on the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. My goal is to make the Find A Grave listings match the VA records as close as possible. That's not easy considering that there are more than 10,000 entries. I appreciate the assistance I've gotten from folks with this. I've spent countless hours walking every inch of the cemetery taking pictures and verifying interment sites. I've also spent a lot of time going through the VA database.

I've discovered that "number collectors" on Find A Grave seem to take great pride in how many memorials they upload. Some will fight to the end to avoid deleting a duplicate or inaccurate memorial. That's a shame. A quote that is attributed to Harry Truman says “It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.” I encourage everyone here to follow that idea and try to create the best tool possible for remembering the deceased.
Thanks to everyone for their contributions and I hope that we're all doing this for the right reasons.
