Joseph Edward McKee

Joseph Edward McKee, 72, of 1900 Buchanan Street, died Thursday night in a Topeka hospital. He was born June 22*, 1866, in Appanoose, Iowa, and came to Kansas in 1874, settling at Beloit.

He had been a resident of Topeka thirty-two years. he was associated with the Senne Construction Company until he retired two years ago. He was a member of the Euclid Avenue Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Lola McKee; three daughters, Mrs. P.W. French, Topeka; Mrs. F.W. Milner, Los Angeles, Calif., and Mrs. J. Kenneth Nolan, Germantown, Tenn.; a sister, Mrs. Elma Philbrick, Beloit; and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be Saturday morning at 10 o'clock at the Euclid Avenue Methodist Church. The body will lie in state at the Wall-Diffenderfer Mortuary until 9 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Fairlawn addition of Mount Hope Cemetery.
