She was born Wanda Carol Holt on August 11, 1944, in Johnson County, Indiana, the daughter of Mary Grace (Logsdon-Stowers) Holt (71217985) and Sylvester Holt (102778991). She was adopted by Pauline Olive (Truax) (117938436) and Raymond Leroy Lyon (117938393). Wanda attended Crawfordsville schools.
She married Larry Gordon Brown in 1963; they divorced. She later married Gene L Shirley on May 9, 1985.
Wanda was a homemaker.
She was a member of Crosspoint Fellowship Church.
She was preceded in death by her birth parents, Mary Grace (Logsdon-Stowers) and Sylvester Holt; her adoption parents, Pauline (Truax) and Raymond Lyon; her sons, Darmon, Kenny and Brian Brown; granddaughter, Susan Brown; brother, Ed Lyon; and a long-time companion, Larry Fox.
