Louis Gordon Nedrow, 96, died Sept 28, 2007, at Ashton Living Center.

He was born March 18, 1911, in a two-room log house in Ora, Idaho. He attended grade school in Ora and graduated from Ashton High School.

In 1936 he married Marian Eckman of Chester. He worked as a mechanic for farm machinery businesses in St Anthony until he retired in 1980.

He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and served as deacon, elder and choir member. He belonged to the Odd Fellows Lodge and served on the board of directors of the St Anthony Senior Citizens Center for more than 10 years.

He enjoyed playing the fiddle, fishing and spending time in the mountains.

Gordon devotedly cared for his wife, Marian, until she died in 2003.

Survivors include his daughter, Sheila Gbelia; two grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Carol (Bob) Comstock, Alwyn (Betty) Nedrow and James (Dorothy) Nedrow.

Memorial services will be at 2 pm today, Oct 13, at the St Anthony Community Presbyterian Church. Burial will be in the Pineview Cemetery under the direction of Bert Flamm Mortuary of St Anthony.
