Leland Ross Day was born Feb.11, 1888 in Schuyler County, Illinois to John Luther and Nettie Sophia (Blackledge) Day and passed away Jun. 16, 1966 in McDonough District Hospital, where he had been a patient for 20 days.
He lived in Schuyler County until 1924 when he moved to Macomb.
He married Lydia Mae Horton Feb. 24, 1909, she died in 1926.
He married Mary Edna Roberts Nov. 28, 1928. She preceded him in death.
He married Dixie Newman Jul. 24, 1962, she survives.

Funeral services will be held 2pm Saturday at the Sargent Funeral Home.
Burial will be in White Oak Cemetery in Schyler County.

Other survivors are three sons, Roy of Roseville, Wayne of Adair and Luther of Macomb; two brothers, Chester of Bushnell and Herman of Macomb; one sister, Zelma Zeigler of Galesburg; nine grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

He was also preceded in death by two sons, one dying in infancy and Alfred who died in WWII; two sisters, Leola Crawford and Glenna DeCounter.
