Juanita was first married in 1934 to Delbert K. Purpus. Mar 15 1941 she married Charles E. Crawford and the family resided on the Crawford/Elliot Home in Elkhorn Township at the time of her passing.
She leaves to mourn her husband Charles, two daughters, Jeaneen Purpus, 9 years of age and Judith Ann Crawford, 20 months of age, her father Ralph A. Stout, step-mother Velma Rigg Stout, a brother & sister-in-law Lyle H. & Florence Stout of Quincy and a large circle of cousins and friends. She was pre-deceased by her mother Arte in 1935.
She joined the Pleasant Hill Union Church in 1941. Her kind and loving disposition endeared her to her family and all who knew her.
Funeral services were held at 2:30 pm Saturday at the Hersman Church. Rev. H.D Brown officiating. Mrs Ruth Rigg sang accompanied by Mrs. Ruth Turner. Flowers were cared for by Mrs. Eileen Renaker and Miss Norma Elliot, Mrs. Mildred Fry and Mrs. Laura Ward. Pallbeaers were: George McCoy, William Fry, Donald McCoy, James Fry, Ora DeWitt and Paul Schenk. Burial was in the Hersman Cemetery. Rounds Funeral Directors in charge.
