LUCILLE CALENA PARKS STERLING of Merritt Island, FL died at home. Lucille was the daughter of Bronza Malone and Katie Thelma Lewis Parks. She graduated from Salisbury State Teachers College and was an elementary teacher in Annapolis and Baltimore, MD, Fairfax County, VA and Hawaii. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Irene Geneva Anderson and Martha Rosetta Todd. Surviving are her husband of 69 years, Major General Eugene Bertram Sterling (married January 14, 1943); children, Barry Eugene (Renee) Sterling of Fairfax Station, VA, Donna Jean (J.Rex) Greer Albuquerque, NM, Gail Ann (Pierre) Sterling-Joubert of Merritt Island; twin grandsons, Matthew Sterling Joubert and Timothy Robert Joubert; step-granddaughters, Andrea Nicole Joubert and Haley Cabe Harrigan; sisters, Mary Rosina Parks Harding of Cambridge, MD and Joyce Estelle Parks Wiley of Milford, DE.
