John Falco, 85, Kansas City, MO, passed away Friday, April 20, 2012, at his home. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Monday, April 23, at Passantino Bros. Funeral Home, 2117 Independence Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64124, where the Rosary will be prayed at 7:30 p.m. Entombment in Mt. Moriah Terrace Park will be private. John was born January 23, 1927 in Kansas City, MO, to Joseph and Mary (Monteleone) Falco. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WWII. He was a member of the painters union, retiring from Wright Drywall, and was a marshal at Hodge Park and Shoal Creek Golf Courses. John was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Nancy (Deister) Falco, in 2002; his granddaughter, Elizabeth Ann Brandom; his parents; and his sisters and brother, Josephine Henning, Savina Simone Sciortino, Joseph Falco, and Patty Monteleone. Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Rick and Cindy Falco; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Bob Brandom; grandchildren, Matt and Dawn Brandom, Andy and Angela Falco, Sally and John Denton; great-grandchildren, Alexus, Matthew and Joseph; sisters-in- law, Rosemarie Falco, Norma Weinzerl; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
