Nancy's Obituary

ARKANSAW, W. VA. - Nancy Ruth Keckley Brill, 80, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2007, at the Winchester Medical Center.

Mrs. Brill was born Aug. 27, 1927, in Wardensville, W.Va., daughter of the late John Frederick and Harriet Glenn Keckley. She was a teacher for the West Virginia Schools in Hardy County for 36 years. She graduated from Wardensville High School in 1944 and received a bachelor's degree from Shepherd University and worked toward a master's degree from West Virginia and Marshall universities. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Arkansaw.

Surviving are her husband of 52 years, Paul Luther Brill, whom she married in May 1955; a son, Michael Glenn Brill of Winchester; and brother, Paul Keckley of Edinburg.

Pastor Jan Henson conducted the funeral service Sunday, Sept. 23, at Zion Lutheran Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, 353 Lower Arkansaw Road, Baker, WV 26801; or the American Cancer Society, Winchester Frederick County Unit, 2654 Valley Ave., Winchester, VA 22601.
