Daisy May Lilly Harvey, 89, of Beech Run, died 12: 06 a.m. Sun., August 4, 1996, in a Beckley hospital following a long illness.

Born March 30, 1907, in Summers County, she was the daughter of the late Thomas Jefferson and Roxie May Cooper Lilly.

Mrs. Harvey was a member of the Bluestone Baptist Church at Jumping Branch and was a lifelong resident of Summers County.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Oral B. Harvey and a daughter, Edith Stiffler.

Survivors include a son, Raymond Harvey of Jumping Branch and a daughter, Athalene Tilton of Dublin, Va.; three sisters, Mable Lazio of Tavares, Fla., Della Smith of Beckley, and Lillian Gogal of Newport News, Va. a brother, Judson Lilly of Dublin, Va.; six grandchildren and 12-great-grandchildren.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Tues. Aug. 6th. at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel with Pastor Bill Fox officiating. Burial followed in the Restwood Memorial Gardens in Hinton.

In lieu of flowers, donations of sympathy may be made to the Alzheimer's and cancer foundations.
