She was the former wife of C&O Engineer Cecil Lilly of Hinton with whom she had four children, Tommy and Betty, who preceded her in death, and Edward Lilly and wife, Mary, of Nimitz and Patty Wilson of Hinton who survive her.
Also preceding her in death were four brothers, Judson, Paul, Sampson and Warren; and four sisters, Maude, Daisy, Zella and Lillie.

Mrs. Lazio lived the early part of her life as a resident and school teacher in Summers County. She moved to Florida in the 1950s and became a real estate investor and cattle rancher. She was a Baptist and attended church regularly. One of her favorite pastimes was dancing. It was at one of these dances that she met Joseph Lazio, whom she married. She always had a positive attitude toward life and walked five miles a day until she injured her back at the age of 96. At her husband’s passing three years later she again became a resident of Summers County, where she remained until her death on Monday. She was an avid supporter of the Lilly Family Reunion Association.
Service will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, Hinton, with Pastors Jeff Canterbury and Bill Fox officiating. Burial will follow in Greenbrier Burial Park, Hinton.
Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral parlors.
