From THE GREENVILLE NEWS (Greenville, Greenville County South Carolna):Joseph William Shular, Jr. U.S. VeteranJoseph William Shular, 52, of Vancouver, Wash., died in January. He was the son of Joe Shular and Grace Welborn, of Pelzer. He was a graduate of Greenville High School and the University of South Carolina. He served as a translator in the U.S. Army in Berlin, Germany. He is survived by his stepfather, Norman K. King, of Greenville; one sister, Billie Jo Roberts, of Tulsa, Okla.; three brothers, Jimmy Branton, of Moncks Corner, Norman King Jr., of Simpsonville, and Bret King, of Mauldin; three nephews; four nieces; two great-nephews; and two great-nieces. Memorial services will be held at noon Saturday, April 19, 2003, at Pretty Place Chapel, Ceasars Head. Courtesy of Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
