Mary Lee Koontz, 65, of Bloomington, died Sunday at Bloomington Hospital.

Born Aug. 24, 1925, in Monroe County, she was the daughter of Guy S. and Mary M. (Deckard) Adams. She had been an accountant for J. C. Penny Co. and with the former Guy Wiley Jr. and Company Accounting Firm. She was a member of Clear Creek Christian Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband, Philip R. Koontz; three sons, Dennis R. Koontz of Greensburg, and James L. Koontz and Charles Andrew Koontz, both of Bloomington; two sisters, one of Monroe County and one of Apapka, Fla.; two brother, both of Monroe County; and six grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Clear Creek Christian Church with the Rev. Glenn L. Hughes officiating. Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.

Friends may call 3-9 p.m. today at Day Mortuary and one hour prior to services Tuesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Monroe County chapter of the American Cancer Society.
