Jerry graduated from Bloomington High School in 1955 and was a member of the National Honor Society, was one of eight members of the Madrigal Singers and a member of the wrestling team. He continued to enjoy singing and setting at his children's weddings, and sang at many church services and funerals.
During his working life, Jerry was a stone draftsman and was most recently general manager at Architectural Stones Sales. From 1976-1981, he was very proud that he helped with the design on buildings from Washington, D.C., to Arizona, including the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
He and his wife, Geneva, owned and operated the Bedford Dairy Queen as well. Other than living in Texas for five years, he spent all his life living in the Clear Creek area. He also served in the Indiana National Guard. He was a member of the Clear Creek Christian Church and was a past president of the Indiana Limestone Institute.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Luanne Williams; his parents; one sister, Mary Lee Koontz; and two brothers, David Adams and Robert Adams.
Burial will be at Clear Creek Cemetery.
