Hannah Kersten, 73, Stockbridge, died Monday morning after an illness of two years.

Funeral services were conducted this morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Stockbridge, with her brother, Rev. Theo Kersten, celebrant, Rev. Joseph Becher, Menasha, deacon, and Rev. Martin Jaeckels, Hilbert sub deacon. Burial was made in the family lot at Chilton.

Miss Kersten was born Feb. 26, 1881 in Chilton where she attended St. Mary’s Parochial school. The family moved to Crivitz in 1901. Miss Kersten was a graduate of the Lourdies Academy in Marinette.

Miss Kersten has been a housekeeper for her brother since he was ordained into the priesthood, living at Meeme, Manitowoc county, Darboy, Shawano, and Cleveland. She has been in Stockbridge since 1940.
