Laura D. Brovont, aged 90, a former Freeport resident passed away Tuesday night in a Grand Rapids Rest Home after a lingering illness. She is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Kenneth (Lucy) Wilcox of Grand Rapids and Mrs. Howard (Rosa) Wilcox of Parnell; eight sons, Ivan A. of Marion, Mich., Stanley L. of North Manchester, Ind., Emory C. and Jesse E. of Los Angeles, Calif., Ezra L. of Fallon, Nev., Glen E. of Freeport, Sharron W. of Battle Creek, Ernest V. of Galion, Ohio; 38 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; one step-daughter, Mrs. Letha Flory of Dayton, Ohio; four sisters and three brothers, many nieces and nephews. Mrs. Brovont reposes at the Pickens Funeral Chapel in Clarksville. Funeral services, 1:30 Saturday at the Campbell Old Order Church. Burial in the Old Order Cemetery, Elder John Flora officiating. Please omit flowers.
