Their daughter Louisita Filomena Forbes was born in Apr the following year but lived just five months and 14 days, being buried near her father who died in June of that same year. Father and daughter were buried in the Pico family plot.
According to author/researcher Bernard Allan Glienke Josefa married twice after Luis died.
She married Henry(Harry?) Green and they divorced somewhere in the late 1880s.
Josefa's third marriage was to Harry Gottliebson, and they had one daughter, Henrietta.
Josefa died in San Francisco according to her death notice published in the San Francisco Call on 14 May 1903.
"GOTTLIEBSON--In this city, May 12, 1903, Josephine E. Gottliebson, dearly beloved wife of H. C. Gottliebson, and mother of Henrietta M. Gottliebson, a native of San Jose, Cal., aged 51 years 10 months and 4 days." [Ref: San Francisco Call, May 14, 1903, page 15, column 5]
