Married Nancy Elizabeth Bolling on 5 September 1854 in Decatur County, Indiana. They located to Montgomery County, Indiana and then Washington County, Illinois after their marriage, Tippecanoe County, Indiana by 1860, Carroll County, Indiana by 1870, and finally located to Norton County, Kansas via St. Louis by about 1878, where he died in 1880.
