Joshua married Martha Ella Tuley in 1909 - in Champaign Co., Illinois.

Joshua N. (Jack) Harris, 77, died suddenly Sunday evening at his home, 208 S. McClure St. He had been heard moving about his room an hour before he was found dead by members of his family. Mr. Harris had been ill for two years but his condition was critical only within the 48 hours preceding his death.

Mr. Harris was born in Logan County, Kansas, and came to Marion seven years ago from St. Louis, Mo. He was a retired railroad man.

Mr. Harris was a veteran of the Spanish-American War.

Surviving are five stepchildren; Dee E. Bragg and Robert W. Potts, Marion; Mrs. Mary A. Richardson, Wabash, and Mrs. Ester McLaughlin and Mrs. Violet Hamilton, both of Flora, Illinois.

A Funeral service was held on Wednesday, at 814 S. Adams St., with Rev. Herman Surber in charge. Burial was in the Grant Memorial Park Cemetery, Marion.
