Barbara L. Monasky, 72 of, Ambler PA, died Thursday in the AristaCare at Meadow Springs in Plymouth Meeting, PA. after complications of a stroke. Born in Sioux Falls, SD, she was the daughter of the late Hans and Agnes (nee Langley) Frahm and was the fifth of 11 children born to them. She served as a Captain in US Army Nurses Corps prior to her discharge in January of 1964. She was a Registered Nurse and worked in Ambler area nursing homes. Mrs. Monasky was a member of St. Alphonsus Church in Maple Glen. Relatives and friends are invited to call after 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at St. Alphonsus Church, Maple Glen. Funeral Mass at 11:00 AM. Interment will be on Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at St. John's Cemetery, Forest City, PA.
