Gus Kordek, 68, of Biloxi died Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1996, in Biloxi. Mr. Kordek was a lifelong resident of Biloxi. He retired from the Air Force with 20 years of service as a civil engineer. He was a member of St. Michael's Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his father, Frank John Kordek; sisters, Mary Kordek Wiltz and Theresa Kordek Gilbert. Survivors include his wife, Dosha "Ted" Kordek of Biloxi; five daughters, Mary Quave of Latimer, Laura Ann Holmes of Chauvin, La., Anne Marie Byrd of Eglin AFB, Fla., Angela Germaine Hopkins of Biloxi and Delores Lee Harold of Boise, Idaho; a son, John David Kordek of Biloxi; his mother, Ulane Broussard of Biloxi; a sister, Lucille Senseney of Biloxi; and nine grandchildren. Visitation was from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the Howard Avenue chapel of Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home in Biloxi, with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. A procession left the funeral home at 12:45 p.m. today to go to a Mass at 1 p.m. at St. Michael's Catholic Church, with burial in Biloxi National Cemetery.
