In 1947 she moved to Arizona without her husband John Fonda. When they came back to Johnstown NY for a visit in 1951, she was listed as a Grissom.
Mrs. Fonda was an early resident of the small desert town of Yuma, Arizona. In November of 1947 she and some of her children moved to Yuma, Arizona to spend the winter there.
