Mrs. August Ruedebusch, 78 year old resident of this city, who had been suffering from a heart ailment for some time, died suddenly last Wednesday evening while eating the evening meal.
The deceased was a native of Theresa, born there on Nov. 4, 1856, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Langenbach. She was married to August Ruedebusch on Sept 21, 1875. After their marriage thy came to this city, where Mr. Ruedebusch died in August, 1933.
Mr. and Mrs. Ruedebusch were the parents of six children, but two daughters preceded the parents in death. Surviving are the following children:
Richard Ruedebusch, Boston, Mass.; Mrs. Antoinette Lang, this city; Mrs. Fred Rueping and Mrs. Laura Goetz, Fond du Lac. Two brothers, Robert Langenbach, West Allis, and Armond Langenbach, West Bend; two sisters, Mrs. Bertha Keeley, and Mrs. Eugenia Sauerhering of this city, and six grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services were held Saturday morning at St. Mary's Catholic church. The Rev. R. A. Kramer officiated, and interment was made in Graceland cemetery.
Among the out of town people who attended the funeral of the late Mrs. August Ruedebusch on Saturday were Armin Langenbach, West Bend; the Gebhard Weber family, Theresa; Robert Langenbach, West Allis; Clarence Keeley, Chicago; the families of Alex and George Dana, J. P. Goetz, W. H. and F. E. Rueping, Max Lang, J. P. McDermott, Ed. Stentz, Ed. Galloway, Henry Comlin, Dr. S. Gavin, and Irene Solle, all of Fond du Lac.
