Age 68yr, 7mo, 27days. No marker found but on cemetery records with Henry. She is listed in two plots but no markers found in either.
Married George C Dana 1/11/1858 in Weybridge Vt.

I was in Bristol today with a descendant of Oliva (or Olivia) Allen and can add this information: She was born Sept. 6, 1840 in Vergennes to James Willard Austin and Lucy (Bentley) Austin. She married in Cornwall on Jan. 11, 1857 George C. Dana. Their daughter, Sarah Oliva Dana, was born Jan. 22, 1862 in Weybridge. Shortly thereafter George C. Dana absconded to Kansas with a neighbor woman named L.J. (first name and surname unknown. Oliva (or Olivia) obtained a divorce prior to 1880. She remarried Henry B. Allen in Bristol in 1881. George C. Dana and his second wife are found in Fort Scott, Kansas, in 1905.
Warren F. Broderick, Lansingburgh, NY

Birth location is inquestion but marriage records usually are the best records if no birth records are found; Suggested edit: I wonder if she may not have been born in Vergennes. There is no birth record, but both of her marriage records list Bristol as her place of birth, and her newspaper obit also gives Bristol as her place of birth- though her death record and records of some of her children give Vergennes as per place of birth.
